Terms & Conditions

Last Updated: November 2025

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of aloelearn.com and all courses, materials, and services provided by Advanced Learning Online Education (“ALOE,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). By accessing our website or enrolling in any course, you agree to these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By purchasing a course, creating an account, or accessing our website, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms, as well as our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, and you must meet the professional licensing requirements applicable to your state or regulatory agency.

You are responsible for verifying that any course you purchase meets your state’s continuing education requirements.

3. Account Registration

To access a course, you may need to create a student account. You agree to:

  • provide accurate, complete information,
  • keep your login credentials secure, and
  • notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.

Sharing your login credentials with others is strictly prohibited and may result in account termination.

4. Course Access & Completion

Upon purchase, you receive online access to the course for 180 days unless otherwise stated.

It is your responsibility to complete the course before your licensing renewal deadline and before your access period expires.

A course is considered “completed” when all lessons and quizzes are finished and a certificate of completion is issued.

5. TDLR Reporting (If Applicable)

When required by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR), ALOE will report your course completion within the timeframe specified on the course page (typically within 24 hours).

You are responsible for ensuring your profile information—such as name, license number, and email—is correct. Incorrect or incomplete information may delay reporting.

6. Certificates of Completion

Certificates are issued instantly upon completing all required modules and passing all quizzes. You are responsible for downloading and saving your certificate for your records.

Lost certificates may be replaced upon request, provided that we can verify your course completion.

7. Intellectual Property

All course materials—including videos, written lessons, graphics, quizzes, and downloadable files—are the property of Advanced Learning Online Education and are protected by copyright law.

  • You may not copy, distribute, share, or reproduce course materials.
  • You may not upload course content to third-party websites or social media.
  • You may not use our content for your own training programs without written permission.

Unauthorized use may result in account termination and legal action.

8. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

  • share your login credentials or allow others to access your course,
  • attempt to reverse engineer or circumvent our website’s technical protections,
  • submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information,
  • copy course materials for resale or redistribution,
  • use the site in any way that interferes with its functionality.

9. Refunds

Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy, which outlines when refunds may or may not be issued. By purchasing a course, you acknowledge and agree to that policy.

10. Website Availability & Technical Issues

We strive to maintain 24/7 availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Scheduled maintenance or unexpected outages may occur.

If you experience technical issues, you must contact us promptly so we can assist you.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

All courses and materials are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee:

  • that a course meets every state’s licensing requirements,
  • that completing a course will ensure license renewal,
  • or that the website will be free from interruptions or errors.

You are responsible for verifying your own licensing requirements.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ALOE is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from:

  • course access delays,
  • technical issues,
  • license renewal delays,
  • loss of certificates,
  • or use of course materials.

Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the course.

13. Accessibility (ADA)

We provide ADA-friendly versions of our courses for students who require accessible content. If you need accommodations, please contact us prior to beginning your course.

Additional details can be found in our Accessibility Statement.

14. Modifications to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last Updated” date. Continued use of the website after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any disputes must be resolved in a court of competent jurisdiction located in Texas.
